Following the washout of several sections of the road and a bridge by Narcosli Creek and the 2018 spring freshet, a replacement bridge and road alignment was constructed along a new 6 km route. This project improved road safety, drastically reduced travel time for the locals in the area, and was designed with future climate resilience in mind. Westech worked through spring breakup conditions, UTV only access to drill pads, and limited water access on site – relying on pumping systems with over 4000 ft of water line at some pads to complete the work.
